Ready To Die Cd
EDITORS’ NOTES Fittingly for an album where the star memorably plays two characters (on stick-up classic “Gimme The Loot”), Christopher Wallace’s debut opus has a beguiling duality at its core. Ram amritvani in hindi. For every swaggering corner boy anthem (“Juicy”, “Who Shot Ya”, g-funk-jacking slow jam “Big Poppa”) there’s a corresponding blast of hood paranoia and introspection (“Warning”, “Suicidal Thoughts”).
