Ahoy, mateys! Disney is still putting together their Pirates of the Caribbean reboot, and while we know very little about the project itself, we do know that Johnny Depp is getting the old heave-ho. Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow is not expected to return, and his departure is going to save the House of Mouse enough loot to fill up several treasure chests. While Depp fans may be disappointed about this, Disney is likely happy to set sail without him, and save some of their precious booty in the process. For the longest time, Johnny Depp was considered a major selling-point for the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
